Job Responsibilities:
- performing the statutory duties of a system administrator responsible for the operation of IDEAS information and communication technology systems designed to process classified information, and for ensuring compliance with the security rules and requirements applicable to those information and communication technology systems;
- ensuring that the basic information and communications technology (ICT) security requirements are met for the access points to classified ICT systems operating at IB IDEAS for which no local system administrators are designated;
- ensuring that the configuration and parameters of the ICT system or network comply with ICT security documentation and other regulatory documents;
- participation in training sessions for users of an information and communications technology system or network on the safe operation of such systems;
- systematic monitoring of the functioning of security mechanisms and the proper operation of the information and communications technology system or network;
- developing security documentation for information and communication technology systems designed to process classified information, such as PBE and SWB, including risk assessments, and preparing these systems for audit and accreditation;
- participation in the organization and implementation of other initiatives related to the protection of classified information and other strategic resources of the organizational unit.
Requirements:
- Polish citizenship;
- Possession of a security clearance issued by the Internal Security Agency (ABW) for classified information up to at least the „secret” classification level and its NATO and EU equivalents;
- completion of specialized training in information and communications technology security conducted by the Internal Security Agency (ABW);
- at least 5 years of experience in the classified information protection division or in an organizational unit responsible for information and communications technology security in the public administration;
- practical skills related to the implementation, installation, and configuration of information systems;
- knowledge of and practical skills in applying general legal acts and information security management standards, including those related to the protection of classified information and personal data;
- knowledge and skills in the implementation and application of physical security measures, organizational, technical, and software safeguards, and electromagnetic protection measures for classified information and communication technology systems;
- Experience in developing and implementing documentation that forms part of an institution’s information asset security policy, including security documentation for classified information and communication technology systems.
